Acne, Y u no leave me alone ? :'(

DISCLAIMER : this isn't a post about how to get rid of pimples :P :P

Pimple...the one thing that always pops up whenever I have a date/ a get-together/ a party to attend :| :| :|

I'm almost 22 and pimples just wont leave me alone. They say teenage is the age when people suffer with acne. BUT I would BEG TO DIFFER :P

Today when i got up, i had a white-head staring right at me from the mirror as if trying to challenge me to POP IT up ! :\ :\


and the worst thing about having acne is hearing all sorts of suggestions about it especially from people who have CRYSTAL CLEAR skin and who never ever suffered with acne :(

Day before yesterday I visited my bua's boutique. A lady was visiting her and she seems to know me somehow but I had no idea who she was. So very NOT- SUBTLELY she says to me "Astha pimples hai tumhare" (AS IF I DONT KNOW !!!! !! arghhh... it actually reminded me of the meme...YOU DONT KNOW :P )


Anyways, but my family seems to be more bothered about my acne problem than me. My Grandma would look at me and say "ARREY paani piya kar !!!! acche thodi na lagte hai daaaane", my dad would send me all sorts of ayurvedic tablets (that have absolutely no effect :P) , my bua would'nt let me use medicines and would say not to worry about breakouts(the best advice ever !! coz my pimples seem to disappear magically whenever i stop worrying about them :P) and my chachi would never give me oily/chilly food :| :| (y u no let me eat tasty food :'( )

They say, being young is the best because you look the best... hahahaha but I have no idea what that means :P THANK YOU pimples :P :P ( i'm not saying that i'm ugly. i know i'm cute :P :P B) )

OOOO but then there are advantages of once-a-while breakouts too :P:P

1. no eveteasing \m/
2. no over-clingy stalkers \m/
3. no expectations to always look the best
4. overshadows the bad-hair days ! :P (people tend to look at your breakouts more than your hair ...hahahahaha).
5. you get to be gloomy-overly depressed-moody during breakouts and people will automatically blame your pimples and bear you :P :P hahahahahahaha

Hostel life !

5. Uchiha Itachi , the hot elder brother of Sasuke who kills his entire clan in order to save Konoha. Loves Sasuke. Even the Akutsukis fear and admire him.

4. Dr. Perry Cox from scrubs. A condescending mentor who comes up with  awesome mind-boggling insults. Poor JD :(

3. Dr. Sheldon Cooper. Nerd + self obsessed + self-proclaimed genius + comic book fetish + clueless + BAZINGA !

stay awake all night !

I was supposed to drop my landlord to the railway station at 4am today, so instead of sleeping early , I decided to stay awake the entire night.







The problem with being awake the entire night is "what to do" !

So I'll sum up the "10 not-so-bad things" that i often do during self-induced insomnia :

1. Read a novel that is long pending ....for me it'll be Chetan Bhagat's Revolution 2020

2. Complete an entire season of a sitcom (gossip girls FTW ) YAYA !!

3. Watch late night movies on HBO. I saw Child's play 2 today.... *shivers* I hate Chucky ! :|

4. Late night maggi and coke ! just awesome !!

5. Read Manga :D

6. gossip, if you are awake during a sleepover. it helps spend time ! :D and you get to know about the latest
happenings in your friends' lives.

7. boredpanda.com and 9gag. need i say more?

8. Put random status on fb every hour and post memes. keep tweeting.

9. Look at your old albums *nostalgic*

10. its actually a good time to make/update your CV :P

Sisters before Misters

Until a month ago, I never believed in the concept of BFFs for life. I always thought life moves on and people change. People do change, but there are still those who will remain your friends no matter how confused, messed up, depressed and fucked up you are. The Reunion of 2012 made me realize how lucky I was to have friends like Malliz, Simu, Jassi, Suchi and Tew. We had met after 6 years. Each one of us had changed. I had finished my college, Simu, Jas and Tew still had one year more to go and Suchi and Malliz were already working women. But this material classification (sorry i didnt knw what else to write :P) didnt stop us from laughing, giggling, partying together and behaving like kids. It was as if time had never altered the course of our friendship, it was still the same. We were still those stoopid girls who never cared about the others and were happy among ourselves. :) :) and now I proudly say, we are BFFS for life !
